JUNE - 2007 - per email from Karen (Gorman) Baker.
Her Dad (Edward J. Gorman) was in the 345th Regiment (Company G).
Karen said she just received the most recent Golden Acorn News,
and one of the stories reminded her husband that he had taken pictures of these grave markers while on a trip to Europe several years ago.
They are from 2 different military cemeteries (Hamm in Luxembourg and St. Avold in France).
There is also a photo of the 87th Division plaque at the Bastogne memorial.
She wanted to pass them along in tribute....and to anyone who might be interested.
If any family member of these men see this - please let us know.
Thanks to wonderful people like the Gorman's - who pull out their pictures and send them to this site - for all to view.

on December 26, 2019Hello - For Patrick Di Bari.
Your great grandfather and my great grandmother were brother and sisters. His Sister was Felicia Di Bari and your great grandfather was Donato Di Bari. Your mother I believe is Patricia ? My mother came from Italy in 1957 and she remembers meeting your mother as someone said she was her cousin.
The Di Bari family history is very amazing. I have it public on Ancestry.com.
Thanks

on November 4, 2008Dear Mr. DiBari, (named after your dad?)
Thanks for your comment - It is posts like yours that keep me motivated to continue this gallery.
Could you provide the Date of death and year so I could fill in info that I could not read on his marker from the photo clearly.
Also - in honor - tell us a little bit about him - It will make it more personal when people look in on this photo of his marker. Maybe even provide his military photo or any photo of him.
Sincerely,
Debbie H. - gallery moderator

on October 30, 2008I would like to thank you so much for posting this picture of my grandpa cross. My mother and my grandma went to St. Avoid and brought back pictures. It is people like you that help people find there love ones from the war, that have no idea where they are.
Also I would like to know if you have anymore pictures?
Thanks a MILLION
