9-06 - Jefferson Barracks - St. Louis, Missouri
Front of Monument looking out toward
Mississippi River - This Monument is located in Jefferson Barracks - between the Amphitheatre and the Powder Magazine Museum.
From what I have been told, and seen from looking at many other Battle of the Bulge monuments, this is only monument that has inscribed all divisions and units involved in this battle.
I would like to invite anyone out there to have their picture taken with the monument - and I would add them to this indiviual gallery!
And let us know why the monument is special to you.
And as always, any comments or general thoughts are always welcome to this site for all to read..

on March 30, 2009my Dad was in the BoB and I was looking and reading about what happened to him. It seems that when a person gets the 4th metal of Honer I should find something that says what he did. He got the Bronze Star Metal and some ribbon that had bronze stars three of then. He was a POW ,and he did some marching. What POW camps did he stay in? When did he get out of being a POW (liberated). Where in the USA did he get training and what did he train for? Was he drafted I think so?
